so, i get that i am basically talking to myself here, empowering i guess--but lonely....
however every now and then i'd like someone elses opinion

Why I pick up needles and hooks
knitting and crochetting just makes me feel good, at peace, connected -- my grandmother first taught me when I was 6, and i put my needles away for a long time , just picking them up when a project was needed. then my kids grew up and I found my hands empty -- no more noses to wipe and hands to hold. so I began to gather yarns and fibers -- and again I felt the joy i remembered sitting in the family room of my moms house as mom mom's needles clanked.
